Slim, elegant and efficient Polaris model fixtures make the best out of the aesthetic and technological advantages presented by state-of-the-art FH and FQ lamps. The contemporary and practical body coupled with reflectors that create a comfortable illumination with perfect efficiency present an impressive choice for surface mounted fixtures, a challenge designers have to manage much too often.
Body: The body frame is manufactured with 2 mm thick aluminum profile. The fixture base is made of 6114, A1 quality DKP sheet steel and coated with 80 microns thick epoxy polyester electrostatic powder paint. Polaris model fixtures contain FH and FQ lamps that operate only with electronic ballast; therefore all the products in this range are manufactured with electronic ballast only.
Reflector: The Polaris model fixture reflectors are manufactured with 0.4 mm thick high purity (99.9%) MIRO aluminum to ensure maximum efficiency and prevent probable light discoloration. The side wings of the reflectors are properly curved to increase efficiency and orient the light beams. The lamellas are in double parabolic form.
Front surface: The front surfaces of the ultra-slim Polaris products are regular or perforated. The perforations are 1.5 mm wide. To prevent the inside of the fixture from showing and to enhance the decorative appearance in the perforated version, a 0.55-mm-thick very light permeable opal flexilens sheet is placed behind the perforation.
Two-lamp, high light flow 35-54W lamps are used in this model that is available in perforated (P) and regular (D) types excluding the reflector surface. The fixture width is slimmed to house two lamps.
